SPIRITUALITY IN THE MODERN AGE
Spirituality in the Modern Age is an attempt to explore the current status and possible future of spiritual thinking in modern and post-modern societies and to understand the way old spiritual traditions are evolving to fit the need of contemporary humans. This online workshop will be held on September 23rd, 2021, and is organized by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Fundamental Sciences (IRFS) in Iran and its international partners including the Logic and Religion Association (LARA) and Purushottama Research Center at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in Moscow.
The Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Fundamental Sciences (IRFS) in Iran is organizing the 1st International Workshop on Oriental Logic. It is aimed to introduce the Eastern way of reasoning to an audience of predominantly Western background in logic and philosophy. The workshop will be held via Zoom during August 30th and September 1st, 2021.
Months ago, we postponed our conference for a year, certain that by the end of 2021 the COVID-19 crisis would be under control. Unfortunately, the world is now witnessing new and more severe waves of the crisis. Given the current situation, we are obliged to postpone the 3rd WoCoLoR once again: it will now be held from 4 to 8 November 2022, during the Kartik Purnima festival. Please note that this does not change the submission process done so far: all accepted abstracts remain accepted for presentation at the congress.
